Our Story
Established in 2024, Mellonella Mastering is a platform for audio mastering services drawing from many years of engineering experience to handle the final stage of a client’s post production needs.
With a named derived from the Greater Wax Moth, the creature with the highest hearing capability, Mellonella Mastering’s primary focus is to build upon client final mixes, with extreme attention to enhancing and improving the overall sound while maintaining the essence of what the client had in mind, bringing out the best in the music, ready for public release.
Principal engineer Ian Anthony, graduated with flying colours from renowned audio college IMW in London, under the strict tutelage of Gerald “Gez” Prior, and was asked to come back to teach future students. Since then, his audio journey has involved working with artists and producers, across multiple genres in a range of tasks from the technical, including audio restoration, through to more creative endeavours such as custom sound design and audio production.
